1st Bet ( Baseball )

Once you have exercised the patience and invested the time to diligently study all aspects of baseball, you’re probably ready to make your wager.
Your betting options can include:

  • A pitcher option. You can wager regardless of who pitches, or you may decide to bet only if the scheduled pitcher starts the game.
  • Parlay bet, that is, a bet on more than one game. But in order to win, all the events specified must take place.
  • Futures bet, that is, a bet on which team will win a future sports event. Usually, this is a championship game.
  • Over-under bet. In the over bet, you win if the total score of the teams in a game is more than the number posted, lose if the total number is less, and if the total number is the same as posted, then there’s a tie. In the under bet, you win if the total score of the teams in a game is less than the number posted, lose if the total number is more, and if the total number is the same as posted, then there’s a tie.
Before using this option, it’s a good idea to study not only how each team is pitching but also its possible number of runs per season.

One option to avoid, however, is the public bet, in which most amateur sports bettors agree. This type of bet is largely based on hunches and media influence, rather than on careful data collection and analysis.
